How To Style Your Wardrobe Using Sudoku!

This is such a fun way of creating outfits, shared by Randi from The Effortless Closet, that I just had to give it a go and spread the word! It's the perfect way to reinvigorate your creativity when it comes to putting together new looks with your existing wardrobe, plus it helps reverse any feelings of boredom and the need to go on a shopping spree. I used it as an easy way to help me put together a capsule travel wardrobe and I'm so in love with some of these new outfit combinations. Style Sudoku is also super simple so listen up...

All you have to do is follow the template, you can download a copy at the bottom of this post, and select 16 items from your wardrobe, one to fill in each box. I substituted a couple of the accessories boxes for jackets as my travel destination wasn't a warm one but you can use any accessories you like in these boxes; scarves, hats, belts, jewellery etc. It helps to keep your colour palette complimentary but if you've discovered your colours and been working towards a wardrobe centered around your core colour palette this shouldn't be a problem!

Now follow the vertical, horizontal and diagonal lines and just like that you have 10 new outfit combinations! You can simply write down your selections on your printed out template or take a quick snap of your pieces laying in the formation of the template if you're more visual. In this scenario I picked my favorite and most worn pieces but as I transition into the new season I'm keen to try Style Sudoku out with pieces I'm unsure about keeping. As well as increasing the versatility of your most loved items this fun fashion game could help restore your love for those pieces that have been pushed to the back of your wardrobe!
